Effective compression therapy requires a tight fit. As such, putting on compression socks can be a bit challenging - especially for first time users. Make your mornings easier by following these steps or watch our video tutorial below:
Step 1: Put your hand into your Dr. Segal’s Compression sock. |
Step 2: With your Thumb and forefinger, tuck in the heel of the sock. |
Step 3: While pinching the heel, pull the sock inside out to create a toe pocket. |
Step 4: Stretch toe pocket wide to allow your foot to slide into the toe pocket. |
Step 5: Put your foot into the toe pocket fully, and pull the sock over your heel into the heel cup. |
Step 6: Pull the top of the sock (the band) up your leg - the rest of the sock will follow. Place the band 2 finger widths below the crease of your knee and massage out any wrinkles there may be in the fabric. |
